It was cold and quiet in the room when Admantius woke up, smelling of night and the breeze coming off the river. Soraka wasn't back yet; he could also tell by the smell. It has been at least a day, and it was unusual for the angel to be out so long when they hadn't been fighting at all. Admantius was immediately suspicious of that female vamp.
He stood, quickly donning clothes, and strode out of the cave mouth to take a sniff around.

Warm and comfy. That was Admantius's first thoughts upon waking up to find Soraka in his usual position against his shoulder. Didn't want to wake him up, looked too peaceful and relaxed, so Ada slid sideways with caution and into the cool post-dawn air. Shivering slightly, he stretched and threw on some clothes then padded out the door on silent feet to relieve himself in the bushes.
Hmm. Funny smell at the cave entrance. Female, vampire, few hours old. He paused to look at the spot where the unknown woman's smell was strongest, caught a faint whiff of Soraka's scent mixed with it, and quirked an eyebrow. Well now, what was dear Sora up to, meeting strange women in the middle of the night?
The breeze changed and the smell wafting from outside came into sharp definition, rich with the same smell of the stranger. She was still hanging around. Nosy? Nah. Admantius preferred to think of it as keeping an eye on his assets. It was to his slight surprise and humor to see the figure up a tree and wrapped in one of his nice wool blankets.

It had taken a while- two days, actually- before Admantius felt like he could go back and face Soraka again. He wasn't mad anymore. Instead there was the hollow feeling in his chest that marked the complete lack of anger. Annoyance, however, was still on the attendee list. He was still annoyed with the angel's views, and needs, and requirements. In fact, he was really very glad he had gotten out for those few days just to replace that distance between them.
But in the end, when Admantius opened the door to a cave very lacking in the presence of the angel-turned-vampire, he couldn't fight the gut-dropping feeling thought maybe he had done the wrong thing.

((Continuation of an RP, so you can feel free to ignore if you want.))
There was a spring to Admantius’s step as he wandered back towards his cave, taking a slight detour to terrorize some pigeons and roll around in some dry hay that a farmer had left out. It was a nice sunny day, and he would have been happy to just take his time and laze around, except for the fact that he knew there was a bedraggled half-angel asleep in his bed.
Opening the door quietly he slipped in. Soraka was still asleep and muttering softly, incoherently, and Admantius pulled the chair over from the desk sit on and watch the angel sleep. Odd, that such a lowly creature would be out here…
